Part of the Antic Group, the Job Centrebased on Deptford High Street, which takes it’s name from the employment agency that once occupied the venue, is only a stone’s throw away from the newly developed train station.

The spacious street level bar’’s interior is an eclectic mix of vintage décor and quirky furnishings. Relying heavily on Deptford’s bric-a-brac shops and markets, the design is influenced by items bought or inspired by the local area so don’’t be surprised if you see a picture on the wall that you were looking at in the market last week.

From this month, Head Chef ‘Freddie’ Sczombathi launches a menu of affordable, modern, British seasonal cooking based around sharing culture and small plates. ‘Many of the recipes are family recipes and I wanted to bring that feeling of home into the Job Centre’. Proud of his culinary heritage, you’ll find his mothers’ influence in many of the creations.
