In my corner this month is Head Chef Craig Keane of Candela Clapton, a Latin/Iberian inspired restaurant and cocktail bar in Dalston.

Open from breakfast through to late night, the venue has an extensive menu featuring Latin American inspired sharing dishes full of classic South American and Cuban flavouring, and featuring plenty of pork, beef and chicken.

The concept is based on sharing plates in the South American tapas style. More than just a great place to eat, Candela holds live music nights with the best of London’s Samba and Salsa music and dancers. South American art is also shown all around this creative space.

It’s had some fantastic reviews already and the atmosphere has livened up this part of Dalston. We are looking forward to joining the team and helping contribute to their continued success.
